Limitations

Maximal editing file size is about 2Gbytes (for freeware edition it's about 1Mbytes). Editor doesn't create any temporary files and uses a little memory while working. File loading time is proportional of file size, so it's fully scanned during file loading. The loading of big files may need some minutes on the slow computers.

Maximal length of editing string is 4096 Bytes. More long strings will be split.

All editing commands are putted to UNDO/REDO buffer except of command with very big blocks that includes more than 10000 lines. Such commands will not be saved in UNDO/REDO buffer. For freeware edition there is UNDO buffer only.

Minimal file size for backup creating is 32 Bytes.

Maximal file size for backup creating is 1000000 Bytes.

Editor doesn't control for file link opening. The file that opened by name and by its link both is looks like two different files. It's possible to have any problem in such case.

Supported code pages is: IBM437, IBM850, IBM852, IBM866, CP1250, CP1251, CP1252, ISO-8859-1, ISO-8859-2, ISO-8859-3, ISO-8859-5, ISO-8859-15, KOI8-R, KOI8-U. It's clear working with files in the different code pages simultaneously. While text is copied from one code page to another the text encoding is made.
